What is CDC Search Engine?

This Search Engine is hosted at CDC Internet and is focusing mainly on Malaysian websites and Malaysian information.
Central Data Centre Internet is a small internet provider located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

For my study Telematics at the Polytechnic University in Rijswijk, my friend William van Munsteren and I did our graduation project with CDC Internet.

During our graduation project, from 2 September 1996 till 13 December 1996, William and I improved the existing Search Engine, originally written by Paul Bourke. Below you can try a test version. Due to bandwith contrains there can not be enough searches to stay up to date. Currently it is known under the name "KemanaMalaysia".

The new Search Engine is faster, can extract more links, extract more information, like e-mail addresses, and has got a better readable summary.
